Early 19 century MEISSEN' s classic "blue onion" pattern teapot with copper handle, 1st quality. Crossed swords XX on the bottom of the teapot. very rare and highly collectible!
Condition: Small chips on the rose bud finial, small and shallow surface chips on open rim (please see the last picture), some copper oxide due to the age, otherwise in excellent and clean condition
Size: 6 '' tall (to the bud finial), and 5.5 '' in diameter of the body.
